Promise I'll write about opera/Nordic Voices and why I think I might be more interested in that kind of performance than necessarily theatrical work... hmmm. But for now, I want to share the Libera me from Verdi's Requiem as sung by Margaret Price and conducted by Lovro von Matacic with the Zagreb Philharmonic in 1979. I didn't really expect Price to sound quite like this, so it was very much a surprise.
