So it's not a fluke. I went to practice today, not having a great amount of time, since I was running late (bah!). It's still somewhat tricky to keep the "ah" vowel from lapsing back into old habits (and also tricky to keep it from developing new unwanted habits), but that was the main focus of the practice.

kind of amazing how this has freed up singing in all ranges and on all vowels except "ee" (because that one is still mean). I didn't even vocalize very high in my range, but thought to give the phrase "ma soeur je confie" a couple tries. Without a hitch. All three times.

This is blowing my mind.
