while watching Daria on youtube, had an errant thought which will have to be fleshed out later:
could it be that strong infatuation is aided not only (or even primarily) by a blindness to faults of the other, but also by being attracted to the idea of having such a strong effect on an object of affection that the other would (obviously) or could change those faults?
