can we talk about this?

so I didn't get more scholarship money, which, in the long run, is totally fine (and it was, to be honest, a longshot). and as people I've spoken to have also mentioned, what's important is that 1) my teacher believes I have promise (and in that I feel pretty secure) and 2) if I do well first year, I might be able to have a successful appeal the next year.

But I do have to admit that I had a moment of feeling like this:
